Wednesday night was the first time this year I felt summer. I was sitting on gravel on the side of the road, watching some lightening in the distance as the evening light quickly faded. It was an unusual spot to realize total relaxation, but for a few moments as the storm rolled in, I didn't want to be anywhere else but on the side of that road. Then the mosquitoes started biting and the fun was over.
But the loneliness was nice while it lasted.
