Swimming Pools

Nicholas Richards, 7, swims underwater from his dad, Jim, towards the side of the pool Sunday afternoon at the Merrill Park pool. "It's a beautiful, sunny, Father's Day and we all decided to cool off," Jim said, who was at the pool also with his wife, Beth, and other son Will, 5. Area pools opened this weekend for the season.

Forgotten

While on assignments, I shoot some pictures that I may like, but I just know they will never end up being published. The forgotten. A split second in life, as it continues to happen but may not be the assigned story. It's still worth taking that photo.

Concord Prom

Concord High School had their senior prom on Saturday night and I was asked to go for a little bit and do a photo page for Monday's paper.

Sen. John Kerry Came to Concord

Sen. John Kerry stopped in Concord Sunday to give a speech at the St. Paul's School, a private boarding school he attended until graduating in 1962. He delivered a pretty good speech at the school's Baccalaureate service, so good I almost thought he was going to announce his desire to run for President again.
