Arbitrary Door

Driving back from photographing Vice President Joe Biden, as himself, I had some time to revisit some thoughts, questions and attempt to figure out some unknowns about my future. Decided to stop by the ole' door in Auburn, Mich., that I shot about a year and-a-half ago thinking it was like the Truman Show.

dude, at first it seemed like some weird joke. i looked at the picture, and i knew i've seen a picture of a door with nothing else but air around it somewhere, at some point, but had no idea where or when. and then i read what you wrote, and it all starts to make sense: i saw that same door in a picture on your blog a while ago... how 'bout a weird essay on this topic. just pics of the same door every now and then. different times of day, while raining, somebody walking by, whatever. some kind of variation from a frame to another. it probably won't bring you any prize, but i'd sure love to look at a series like that and think.

Thanks all.

Dude, Catalin, great idea. It'll give me something to do on those slow days and could turn out pretty cool in the end. Thanks for the thoughts!
