I love love love how big the photo of the doctor holding the baby played. Definitely probably my favorite of the bunch. Also, the first bit of the story--about the prayer--holy crap. Neil showed it to me, and again, I was just blown away. Well done. Incredible and moving.
I am a staff photojournalist at the Concord Monitor. I am a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and was a student at the Danish School of Journalism. Upon graduation, I worked at the Midland Daily News for nearly two years from 2008-2010.
