Shelter From the Storm

Alyssa Keptner, 7, from Midland, runs for shelter as the rain picked up Sunday afternoon while visiting The Lavender Fleece Farm and Studio with her brothers David, 10, Steven, 12, and their friend Brandon Devericks, 13, along with her parents Paul and Doreen Keptner. As part of the fourth annual 'Be A Tourist in Your Town,' a program put on by the Midland Area Chamber of Commerce, the farm hosted an open house to guests both Saturday and Sunday. "If it's got animals our kids want to be there," Paul Keptner said.
