Future Jobs? Time will tell...

Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm greets Dow Chairman and CEO Andrew Liveris Friday after her arrival in Midland, Mich., for the announcement following the U.S. Deptartment of Energy $161 million grant towards the Dow Kokam joint venture to develop a new generation of high-power batteries at the Dow Chemical Co. The battery manufacturing facility is set to open in 2011 and is projected to employ 800 workers.
