Letter to a Pilot

Debra Smith, of Midland, wrote a letter to US Airways pilot, Capt. Chesley B. Sullenberger III, following the January 15 emergency landing of flight 1549 into the Hudson River. Being a frequent flyer to San Francisco and Portland, Ore., to visit two of her five children, she felt compelled to write a note to express good news admist, according to Smith, a time of bad news. On Sunday, she discovered her note was read on the television program, "60 Minutes."

Not sure why I can never get the colors to look right on this thing, but it's not supposed to be flat.

Hey dude, these colors are not flat. There's a lot of contrast here (how would the original be? I wonder...).
This is an awesome portrait. Good thinking, Tully!

About the flat colors... are you making sure the profile of the picture is sRGB (not RGB) before posting it? Whenever I forget to convert the profile into sRGB, the colors look pretty flat on the web...
