Pretty cool WWII Photo

Hanging out with Kieth Hitchcock today, I noticed this photograph in his photo album from his time in the Marine Corps during World War II. He didn't take this photo, but received it from the Marine Corps. It's a photo from Tarawa, a South Pacific island where a pretty large battle took place strategically helping the US proceed to Tinian and Saipan, where the Enola Gay took off with the atomic bomb. Anyways, I thought this photo was pretty amazing and probably hasn't been seen enough.
