"The fats been gone. We're down to the skeleton of our district at this point," said Bullock Creek Superintendent John Hill addressing the Board of Education and the community about the 2009 budget. Nothing has been voted on, but cuts in music, football, yearbook, high school newspaper, mentor programs to assist students dealing with everything from stress to social issues, have been proposed.
