A cold night's walk

Needed to get out and think. It's been a while since I've done a walk like this with my camera and thought I'd stop by the Tridge, a landmark in Midland that connects 3 areas of land over the river.

An accident that luckily didn't amount to anything, but I thought I'd take a few pictures.

I'm seeing red

A few outtakes from shooting a group of women getting ready for their annual bake sale. Last year they sold 300 dozen cookies. All the proceeds go to mission work and the church.

Fun in the...snow

I was driving back from a morning assignment and saw these kids playing in the snow.

footballerz

Freeland High School lost tonight in the regional finals for division 5. It was a fairly close game ending 34-27. I also have about 4 shots of this kid with his mohawk.

These two dudes ^ above ^ came in to the locker room arguing and started pushing each other around. It sounded like each were holding the other responsible for a play on the field. The other team scored in the last 30 seconds of the first half, sending Freeland to their locker down a touchdown.

Looooooong Day

After waking up at 4:45AM and driving 13 hours back to Michigan, I stopped in Flint to photograph volleyball regionals, then ate an enormous subway steak and cheese, then drove another 1.5 hours to Midland, then edited photos. Now it's time to unpack, throw out a carton of eggs that are surely bad, and go nappy nap nappeeroo.
