A first time for everything

Today was my day off at the newspaper so I headed over to complete a freelance gig that was passed down from two friends for an interior design company.

Harvest Fest

Last Sunday I hung out in Coleman, Mich., at the Old West Harvest Fest being held by Erin and Jeremy Steward on their 30 acre Salt River Stables property. The Harvest Fest has a cowboy and indian theme and is targeted at bring families, mainly the children, back to nature and away from computers and video games. A family run operation, this is their first time hosting such an event and are hoping it expands each year and possibly grow into having summer camps. Click here for the soundslides piece.

Auto show

Today I headed over to Northwood University's 45th Annual International Auto Show. They had a Bugatti Veyron being shown. A man standing near the car said, "This car is worth $1.5 million." At which point I replied, "Yeah, but does it have a cup holder?"

Back at it

I guess that didn't last long. I was hoping to redo this blog and come back with a whole new web look, but it's going to take a while and who needs it anyways. It's not about the fancy blog, it's about the photos. So with that said, I'm back. To my surprise I've heard from some people who were confused about the blog and why I left and so it's back. But I don't think I'll be updating as often and only post my best stuff. Thanks for the patience.
