Thy-Denmark
So I've been in Thy, the northwest area of Denmark, since last Friday. My class of 7 and I rented a summer house with an indoor pool and it's been nothing but shooting and crazy parties. I hung out at a camp ground hoping to work on a story there, but it's off season and really wasn't too interesting.

SoundSlide
Check out this soundslide put together for a class by me and another kid in the class. The pictures are mine (obviously) and the audio was done by the other guy. I know the audio is kind of bad quality, the guy did the interview in the truck. yep. Anyways, check it out.

Breaking Stereotypes
Did a story about Omar for a stereotypes class. Immigration in Denmark is a huge concern and many immigrants and foreigners wind up living in enclaves and areas of similar cultural backgrounds. These enclaves can promote networking and finding jobs among the immigrants but can also keep long-time Danes and the new citizens from integrating, causing further animosity and problems.

Check out this video
A friend of mine who I photographed skydiving a few weeks back sent me this video he made. He threw in some of my pics towards the end which was really nice. Check it out. Wait maybe 3 minutes before starting the video, just so it has time to download. The dude with the white jump suit is Thomas.

:-(
My camera broke :(
I am poor. :(
Damn.
A piece on the shutter broke off from one side and is free-floating between the CCD and the shutter. It's probably 4 years old and this is the first problem so I guess that's good. Maybe it's time for a bank robbery (kidding!) and buy a new camera.

Hearst
I just heard that I placed 14th in the Picture story competition. I'm really excited and honored by the award. In Berlin right now chillin with a friend on our easter break. We started out backpacking around Denmark, then decided to get to Hamburg and randomly left for Berlin. We'll be here until Sunday when we head back.
